This place is 5 stars. The food is local and excellent. Price is perfect. We must go here when in Taos.

We had heard very good things about Orlando's (New Mexican Cuisine) and had been recommended the Beer Battered Fries. When we arrived we were told the wait woukd be 'about an hour'. We decided to stick it out. Not much of an indoor waiting area but they had chairs and a fire pit outside and that made the wait much more bearable. When we got inside the staff were immediately very attentive. We ordered the Nachos as an appetizer. Fresh, tasty and good size for sharing. My sons ordered the Chimichanga and the Tres Colores Enchiladas. I ordered the Taos Burger (Cheeseburger with a Chile Relleno topper). Everything we ordered was very tasty and filling. Prices weren't bad at all ($15-19/entre). We ordered Beers w/dinner, but they also had Margheritas available. For dessert we shared an Avocado/Lime pie - came out a bit frozen (so hard/cold) but it was interesting - in a good way! Good visit, I would recommend.

This place is AWESOME! We stopped by after an awesome ski day for a delicious, filling, and nourishing meal. Just beware that you'll have to wait for a table, but they have an outdoor and indoor area to wait. The staff is kind and attentive even though the place is constantly packed! Stuff for meat-eaters, vegetarians, celiacs, and dairy-frees!

Fun funky roadside place you must hit while in Taos serving fantastic New Mexican fare. Be prepared for a wait but they have a cozy outdoor fire-pit with libations served to pass the time. Loved the Shrimp Blue corn enchiladas smothered in a smokey red chili sauce. The posole was a refreshing change from traditional rice and I love beans were whole not smashed.

Best chili rellanos I have had in years. Everyone enjoyed their New Mexican food dishes and thought both the green and red chili were delicious! The place is small but authentic. Make sure you get there early as it's fills up quickly. Good service and the food came out quickly.

What a fun place with delicious New Mexican food! We got there after a day of skiing at 4:40 and were the third group in line. My recommendation would be to get there early as the wait time can get long. And understandably as it is totally worth it. Get the smothered burrito or the blue corn enchiladas. We opted for shredded beef and chicken. But have heard the shrimp is a great option too. If you are in Taos make sure it's at the top of your list

Wonderful spot in Taos! It was fun to wait by the fire, and the restaurant is beautiful. The food is amazing, prices and portions are just right. We were in and out very quickly!

Food is absolutely amazing. Great value. The Los Colores enchilada is what you definitely want to get. My favorite was the cheese enchilada. My husband's pork was perfection. The posole is everything. Even the kids meals are great quality. My daughter ate her entire burrito. Service is fast and there's a guy walking around just filling waters so it's great. Took off a star for ambience. If you get there when they open you're late, there's already a long line out the door. We were seated quickly but directly next to the kitchen. Super loud, lots of traffic, felt chaotic. Definitely come for the food but keep expectations realistic for the experience. I think pickup is the way to go here. Or sit at the bar. And *definitely* do not miss the avocado pie....it sounds disgusting but it will absolutely change your life.

Wow, what a treasure. Orlando's was recommended by the owner of the inn where we stayed, and he was spot on. Orlando's was incredible. We stopped in for lunch after exploring Taos, and it was exactly what we were craving. We were seated outside on the patio, and the service was done with a smile, great recommendations and friendliness. Mr. B ordered the special enchiladas, Calabicitas enchiladas, which is sauteed zucchini, onion and cilantro, with a green sauce. I ordered the Blue Corn Cheese Enchiladas with Christmas sauce (Red and Green). The enchiladas were traditional Southwestern style and were served with posole (hominy) and beans. Mr. B enjoyed a local Santa Fe brew, Happy Camper IPA and I had a lovely chilled glass of Pinot Grigio. The food was truly incredible. They have their own parking lot, so parking is easy. There is inside dining, and the outdoor patio. If the weather is lovely, take a seat on the patio, it is really nice. I wish I had an Orlando's near me, I would be a regular.

The pork medallions were amazing, and so were the chicken tacos. The wait was very long, but the staff were helpful.
